On May 27, the Postal Regulatory Commission approved the USPS Market Dominant Products rate increase to go into effect July 12th, 2026. The USPS “Market Dominant” products, include First Class, Marketing Mail and Parcel Select.
Overall, the rates will increase by an average of 4.8% for First Class and Marketing Mail, but as always, the details are important. Here are the increases for some common rates:

There will not be any additional rate increase for Commercial mail (Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, Ground Advantage), however there are some structural changes that may impact postage costs.
